Boulder Falls is a popular local destination for day hikes, rock climbing and spalshing in the creek in the foothills of Boulder Colorado. It has survived two major flooding events, one in 1894 and another in 2013.
This photograph was captured on a 100+ year old Kodak camera. I was lucky enough to arrive at the falls on a cold rainy day that prevented the ususal visitors from coming out to enjoy the area. I had it all to myself. This old camera only has a little window to frame the image and limited exposure control so it took quite a bit of head scratching and light metering. In the end it's one of my favorites.
